CHALLENGE
The project owner would like to renovate an out-of-date voltage regulator to an intelligent electronic regulator. The new regulator just supports DNP3 protocol, but the central SCADA system receives only the IEC 60870-5-104 protocol.
SOLUTIONS PROVIDED
-Definition of the Ideal Network Topology of a site with 49 Low Voltage substation.
-ATOP’s Smart-Grid Industrial Protocol Gateway PG5901B (model PG5901-TB- 04ES-DNEC).
RESULTS
The solution developed and provided by ATOP to perfectly match the requirements of the project owner, so that another 19 protocol gateways are going to be installed soon.
