ATOP becomes IEC 62443-4-1 certified.

For industrial automation and control systems (IACS) and other operational technology (OT) systems, cyber security is not just an economic issue—the consequences of cyber-attacks on critical infrastructure can heavily impact the environment or even public welfare.

As explained in the past, IEC 62443 is a series of standards that addresses the issue of security in IACS. Part 4-1, in particular, describes product development life-cycle requirements for products intended for use in the IACS environment.

As a supplier that takes cyber security seriously, ATOP commits to these requirements throughout our product design, implementation, and maintenance, and through Bureau Veritas, a world leader in conformity assessment and certification services, ATOP has further obtained the IEC 62443-4-1 certification at the beginning of this year.

The certification is a positive response to the growing number of customers who request international standard compliance for their equipment, and ensures overall product life cycle security to help customers achieve projects having strict security demands.

Moving forward, ATOP continues to implement our cyber security program in the development and support for existing and upcoming products, including networking products at all levels, applications, and media, as well as their management.

Stay tuned to read more about our certification process and collaboration with Bureau Veritas.
